my guess is, you need to set an admin-password
there is some file called "winmysqladmin.exe" in your mysql/bin/ directory
open it, set an ADMIN-password (e.g. root / pass) , if necessary restart the tool (so the button shows green or reboot the pc
there is a more elite way to set the admin password, but usually this should be enough, too 😉
