These sessions are giving me sessions of madness!

Ok
I think I'm gonna have a breakdown in a minute!
I have comprage right now because of this!
I have these two scripts, one which is a layout and some other stuff for my site, it also includes a login form and sends it to login.php which login.php should handle but it isn't doing a good job of it, can somebody take a look and tell me what's wrong please? (note, there are no errors or anything that should tell me what I'm doing wrong, it just doeswn't work).

this is from the manual

If you are using $_SESSION (or $HTTP_SESSION_VARS), do not use session_register(), session_is_registered() and session_unregister().

i've noticed you did this:

$login = $SESSION['login'];
$username = $SESSION['valid_user'];
in
http://81.77.113.74/php_source/header.inc.phps

the quick fix would be do change this:
$login = "yes";
$valid_user = $entuser;
session_register($login);
session_register($valid_user);
in
http://81.77.113.74/php_source/login.phps
to
$SESSION['valid_user'] = $entuser;
$SESSION['login'] = "yes";

that should fix your problem.

Hey ,

At least with PHP 4.1.2, you are unable to use ob_start()
with sessions and expect automatic session ID propagation to 
work for browsers that don't accept cookies.

Try removing the function and also debug what value is comin in $login before compare
