header(location:) and GET Var

Hi all,
Using redirecting using:
header("Location:http://mysite.com/page2.php?from=page1.php");

The full url, including the GET string shows up in the address bar, but the GET var, <from>, is null.

Any clues would be appreciated.

have u tried $HTTP_GET_VARS[] or so?

I'm on PHP 4 so $_GET["var_name"] works fine, the problem was
programmer error. I was trying to pass through two requests with the intial re-direct to a recursive script. I just forgot about the the "middle man" and that's where the GET var was dropped.....really dumb...cost me a lot of head banging 🙁
Just relayed the GET var through the form action and everything's wonderful now 🙂
