Who came from

I need to know if my user came from PayPal.com or E-gold.com after they made payments. What Var tells me where they cam from.

Well at least tell me how to see what site they came from like REQUEST_URI or something?

$_SERVER['HTTP_REFERER'] contains the URL that linked the viewer back to your site. Simply parse it and you'll have your answer.

That will work for a link, but what if its a form button.

it doesn't matter if it's a link or a form button. going from point A to point B requires a connection between the two points. Point A needs to know how to get to point B and in return, point B knows where Point A is.

Test it out on your own first. Create a form, post it to another script and display the Referer on the page.

Yea I did, and it only works on a link. But when it comes from form submit button it doesnt.

I don't know why it won't work for you because it works for me.
