Need help building my web site.

OK, I am really new to PHP. What I want to do is create a dynamic website (that can be updated daily) without having to edit the HTML code to my site (every day). I thought about using a BLOG program, but I wanted something a bit more professional. What I will be posting are technology articles (hmm.. you're kidding its been done already?) giving a basic summary of the article on the home page and then providing a link to the full article. I would also like the ability to place graphics and photos in the article summary.

I would just like to type in the article, upload any images needed, and have the page auto generate via a PHP application. Is this possible?

Just for references I am looking for something like what the following sites have:

Tomshardware.com
Anandtech.com
Viahardware.com

Hopfully I am not asking too much. Any suggestions? Thanks in advanced.

Try PHP-Nuke or one of the other popular PHP content management systems. It will be the quickest and easiest way to get your site up and running.

I hate these systems with a passion but they are ideal for the type of site you want to create.
