So the date setting I have set gives me a format like 2003-01-17. I know I can get seconds and minutes too, but I don't have a use for them right now. What I was wondering if there are trick shortcuts in PHP that lets me display the date in different formats without too much hassle. I don' t know too many people that right their dates like 2003-01-17, aside from MySQL users, of course. :p I know I can do a SELECT LEFT(4, Date), etc. and pull out the Year, Month, and Date so they can be rearranged how I want, but isn't that kind've a pain? There's got to be an easier way. Or how about something that translates "01" into "January"? That's probably asking too much, though. Anyway, how does everyone here handle their dates?
