SEPERATING $_GET variables that are XHTML-compliant

hey y'all, quick question.

I have a script that has some links that post $_GET data in the uri of my page (eg: <a href="...?x=a;y=b;z=c">). As you see, it is seperated by XHTML-compliant semicolons instead of the traditional '&' character. However, PHP does not recognize the ';' seperator for some reason. How can I fix this?

Just curious, would anyone know how I could get a form to submit GET variables this way, i.e. separated with semicolons?

Use & amp; (no space between & and amp) in place of &. That works for php and it's xthml compliant.
