I would like to know if it's better to store files in the DB(MySql), or is it better to just store the path of where the file is, is better. Also let's consider both when the security is a concern or not. Can I have some example of when storing files in the DB is a good choice.
Personally I can see storing the files in DB for two good reasons. In the case of files with searchable content, for which permission is critical. The second case is for pure data protection.
