auto code URLS in text block submissions

although I sniffed around the PHP site I didn't see what i wanted...

let's say some one submits 3 or 4 paragraphs of text that is laced with urls...

Is there an easy way to auto code JUST the urls so that they are HOT LINKS within the text while still denying the sure to actually submit HTML?

well make sure you striptags to get rid of html

most people just type the http://blah.com etc. So you need to use regex.

I did see one but it didnt work too well. My best suggestion is to download phpbb and look for the regex they use to automatically parse them.
