I'm new to PHP, so new that I can not get anything to work how I want or figger out how to do what I want.

I working on a website and it needs to have a place where some staff members can go in to diffrent forms and change the text around for the site. I have been told that I can do this with a flat-file or in MySQL. I can not figger out how to do this right. Please help me if you can (email me at [e-mail] or post here).

All you need to do is store your data in a db, from there, a user can login, and can pull the corrosponding data into a form, ammend it and send it back in...its that easy.

Why do you want to get involved with a flat file?

Becuase I can not figger out how the db from mysql on the server working. Can you help me figger it out?
