help! session info

i am trying to enable session info to be transmitted through the url, I have been told this is possible by enabling trans_sid, does this refer to something in php.ini? within that file I have found

session.use_trans_sid = 0

do I change this to enable session data to be transmitted through the url? if so what do I change? and if not what do I do ? change?

any help would be MUCH appreciated!!

tried that, still not working have also changed

session.use_cookies = 1, to 0 still no joy

it doesnt add the session automatically you have to add the sid variable to the url, maybe its better if you read up on php.net
