Rayn, i'm not too sure what u're talking abt..
from my understanding, here's my suggestion: -
1. enter search term(s)
2. display all search terms results (e.g. there are 3 records which match it)
3. click or select it...get the unique primary key for this record, e.g. it is 'A'.
4. update this record (where primary_key=='A')
Does this help? u shd reference it to ur unique primary key...if ur table doesnt have one, it should..
