This works fine on my local server, but on my remote host I get strange results:
ImageTTFText ($dst, $photogfontsize, 90, $textleft, $texttop, $black, $fontpath, "Photo: " . $photogtext);
The problem lies in the rotation of the text. I want to print the text vertically, reading normally. So if you tilt your head 90 degrees to the left it reads normally (this is a photographer credit that appears alongside a photo). On the remote host, the letters run vertically, but in addition to the LINE of text being rotated 90 degrees, the individual letters are rotated another 90 degrees so they are completely upside down. If you were to stand on your head, you'd see:
P
h
o
t
o
:
M

Is it possible there's a version of Freetype/GD that wants another parameter for individual letter rotation (vs. rotation of the whole line of text)?
