Hello, hope this is right place to ask this. I am looking for any suggestions on where to go on the internet and keywords to find information on getting either names of people or ip addresses from like, yahoo chat, yahoo messenger, or e mails through outlook express or yahoo. Or from a yahoo alias. I am new to this, so something that would be..Aenigma friendly would be great. I use Windows98SE and also have an XP computer. Will those work? Feel free to e mail me also. emails have headers that have the senders ip address.

If you want their ip through chat, like instant messenger, directly connect with them, then open up your dos prompt and type in

netstat -n

that'll give you a list of all your active connections.
