use of Ascii charater

i want to use Ascii character alt + 179 , alt + 290 or other for drawing lines in whatever way i want to use
is any body who has use such type of drawing lines through ascii please give some help regarding using such type of charcter.

The problem is, that stuff is not ASCII at all, but something IBM invented.

Since those characters are outside the standard 7-bit ASCII range, you won't get predictable results when people are visiting your website. I think your best shot is to find a TrueType font with those characters and to embed it in your website.

but if you still want to print these characters then use the chr() function

if your output is going to be in a webpage you need to search for the html special characters; but still I think even in the html special characters these don't exist anymore. so if your output is in html try using the good old tables
