I'm after some help setting up a basic content manager for my website. If anyone out there could help I'd be very thankful. My site is http://www.nffc-net.co.uk all I need is a system that will allow me to update the news section via a browser without having to change the design too much.

You can probably code something very simple yourself. Why not check out PHP-Nuke or Post Nuke? They're made for "slashdot style" news postings.

OK thanks I've managed to set up postnuke. Now can someone give me an idea as to how I just insert part of this into my existing site? If you look at my site I want it where the latest news is positioned at the moment.

Well, post-nuke is an entire content management system. It will likely involve converting your whole site.

I'm sorry but I misread your original request. I didn't realize you only wanted it for the news page and that was it. There are plenty of other scripts out there that would be more plug and play for you. Look for web-logs / blogs, or news scripts at http://www.hotscripts.com
