Create a community forums

I am hoping to create a web community forums for my personel web site, just like PHP Builder Community Forums. But I don't know where to start, or anywhere that I can download the program (this would be great!), can anyone tell me where and how? Appreciated for any comments!!!😉

There are a few standard-forums you can download.
I know 2 that are free:
phpBB and InvisionBoard.

They are both oké. A forum like this will cost you money.

How much will it cost for a forum like this? Will those two forum have a lot of bugs that needed to be fix? Thanks for your help! I tried to download invisionboard but cannot find where to download, the site is download. :eek:

phpBB and Invisionboard are not bugfree, but I think you do not have to worry about that...

I don't know how much a forum like this (i think it is vBulletin) costs, but phpBB and Invisionboard are fine too. A lot of people use those forums.

btw: a site is not download, but down 😉

which is the best free one, phpBB or Invisionboard. also i don't know any php or mysql coding so do you think i should download these and use them on my site that i'm going to be uploading soon. also how can i tell if my hosting service will support php and mysql.my hosting service is www.freewebsite.com, can you see if they support what i will need if i download one of them? thanks

Hey i was just checking out invisionboard and they didn't seem like a good choice, well maybe. they have some reviews from some magazines, and i was wondering if they (1) really do and (2)If they have any advertisements in those magazines. If anyone has them please look through them and let me know, and please let me know how great their advertisements are(do them seem like they would be a big company).

phpBB and InvisionBoard are the most use (free) forums on the internet.
It doesn't really matter what forum you choose, they are both working fine. InvisionBoard has a nicer looking admin cotrol panel, though.
