"so you can see it in several programs"? see what? Do you mean your source code? Your outputted HTML?

"I need it to have several views I can switch between"? What need several views? your web page? different style sheets?

Do you mean tab as in the key just above caps lock, or as in a tab on a page (like the hotmal screen, tabs you can select)? And are you talking about PHP ors simply HTML?

I think if you were a little more descriptive you may get more useful assitance.

i have to structure data from a database on several pages. an i want to switch between pages (formular)

i've seen that it works with asp but i want to realise it with php, because the server is unix based and not on a microsoft basis.

well the hotmail page works by having the tabs linking to differnet pages, which is what you'd need to do. You just hyperlink to a different PHP page and then put the code in to access what ever point of the database you need into each PHP page.

Turning it into a tab is just a graphical aspect that's not really a PHP domain I wouldnt have said. Surely it cant be that different to how you did it in ASP?

ok thx! so i have to work with an session id that i don't get unstored data lost when switch!
