Install on Windows 95 Problem

Trying to install PHP 4.3.0 on Windows 95 laptop running Apache 1.3.27 and get "The PHP.EXE file is linked to missing export KERNEL32.DLL" error message everytime I try to get to a .php page. Apache error log shows "couldn't spawn child process" error.

PHP 4.0.3 was running just fine until I tried to install 4.3.0 on the laptop.

Any ideas what the problem is?

Have you tried using Apache 2 instead?

No I haven't tried Apache 2 yet. Thought I'd stick with the 1.3 series since I understand that PHP is still considered experimental when run with Apache 2.

I believe the problem lies with PHP based on the error message regarding the dll.

Don't think so, cos Ive been using Apache 2 for a while and have had no problems.
