Email Validation in Access... :/

Ok, i know this isnt php help that i need, as i have to use access for this rather pointless school project... basically i wondered if anyone knows of a simple validation check on an email address entered into a field... just really to check that it has...

1 "@", at least 1 "." and there's no spaces, just need an expression or somethin to stuff into the validation rule box...

If only i could do this damned thing in php....

if this is entered into a form field, you can use reg exp's in php to check the field before it is submitted, or you can use javascript to accomplish the same thing, http://javascript.internet.com

Nah this isnt for a website form or anything online, its just an access project to be kept locally, so i cant use javascript or php to validate it 🙁 needs to be actually in access im afraid.

well then i wouldn't know, but i would imagine that there are somethings you can do to validate (maybe not an email address), not sure what though
