It seems crazy to me, that if I want to obtain information about my own credit history, that I have to pay for it. It was not my idea to get every credit action I ever do logged in a database and scored, why should I have to pay to view it. When I apply for a credit card, they use their software to retrieve it in seconds.
Anyway, enough of the rant, I want to know what everyone knows about writing a credit retrival application. It does not have to be php, but with 5 on the way, and Tcl/Tk abilities, it would be a possibility. I have seen smalltime car delerships use VB apps to obtain credit reports in the past, that apps look very poorly put together. If some crappy vb developer can do this,,, well you get the idea.
I searched google, but all I got was 50 gazilliion links to 'check my credit report'. I looked on equifax, but found no developer information whatsoever.
Anyone have any ideas or experiances with this type of stuff?
