Well I currently have a few php scripts that run off of one mysql table...the scripts work fine but the matter of updating the mysql db itself is troubling me. ATM in order to update it I have to take the text file save it off the internet and delet the first top few lines and then clear the mysql table and import it afresh... this is tedious and I would like to have the mysql db updated a few times a day.
here is the text file: http://folding.stanford.edu/teamstats/team63.txt in order fo mysql to format it right when imported the top 12 or some lines have to be manually deleted by me...or is there anyway around this? there is also a html file...but i dont think that helps http://folding.stanford.edu/teamstats/team63.html
here is what the output of the script looks like:
http://ipfolding.no-ip.com
So basically what I am asking is if there is anyway to have that txt file properly imported into my db without creating duplicate entries and with out me having to do a lot of work...if any at all.
thanks again for all the help
