Hiding URL string results

Hi all,
Can anyone explain or point me to a tutorial that deals with hiding a url string?
Is it possible?
Eg.

[url]http://localhost/movie/help.php?cat_id=3&faq_detail=4[/url]

...and turn it into something like

[url]http://localhost/dvd_rental/help.php[/url]

Any ideas?

to hide query string like that try using post instead of get, other than that, you would have to use frames
