Hello dudes and dudettes,
I have a problem with making a connection to a interbase database on another server with php.
This is the situation im in:
I have installed php on a windows NT 4 server with IIS4, this server is called vdnlam75. I have interbase installed on another server called vdnlam70, which is also running on windows NT 4.
When i execute the following php script:

ibase_connect('vdnlam70:d:\\intranet_gdb\\perman32_intranet.GDB','myuser','mypass','ISO8859_1',0,1);
?>
PHP returns the following error:
Warning: InterBase: Unable to complete network request to host "vdnlam70". Failed to locate host machine. Undefined service gds_db/tcp. in D:\Intranet\perman\index.php on line 2
Can someone tell me what i am doing wrong here? I am absolutely clueless and desperately in need of some advice.
