php coding to Fetch data by latest m/d from DB

Hi ..
I am inserting some data in mysql DB day by day using CURDATE () function , and inserting id's (s_id) in that day.
For instance, I have these values in a mysl DB:

How could I wrtie php sript which could fetch me all data by the latest month and date from DB.

I would appreciate some help.

You'd do that in the SELECT query. It kind of depends on what you mean by "select by latest date" and the exact syntax would be a matter of MySQL, not PHP, but "SELECT fields FROM this table ORDER BY time DESC LIMIT 1" would pull out the most recent record, if that's what you're after.

I think I know what he needs 🙂 because I kinda need that too: I want to get only the rows which correspond to the given month
say date is mm-dd-yyyy .. I need to get the rows which have the month xx.

In that case I'm sure MySQL comes with plenty of date/time functions for working with date/time fields in MySQL databases. Unfortunately, I'm not that familiar with MySQL, and I'm too preoccupied right now to check out its documentation.

Select by latest month/date means the records of 02-01 according to my table.

$query = "SELECT * FROM table WHERE time = Records with latest month/date";

How can I say to MYSQL that I need Records with latest month/date.
