EMail Subject Headers

I am in the process of developing a fully-featured news-posting script for web presences. I have a field for author that displays like

Title
by Author

Article Text

The author name is generated from a field in a MySQL database, and if you click on the authors' name it is a mailto link addressed to the author's email address (also from the D😎 and the article title is designated as the subject. But, if the article title has spaces in it, it only displays the first word of the title and not the whole thing. How can I adjust this so that the complete title will be the subject?

u have to use urlencode() function ie.

echo "By <a href=mailto:$get_emailaddy[0]?subject=" . urlencode($get_title[0]) . ">$get_author[0]</a>";

You'll also want to follow the HTML spec and quote your attribute values:

echo "By <a href=\"mailto:$get_emailaddy[0]?subject=" . urlencode($get_title[0]) . "\">$get_author[0]</a>";

If you are posting a lot of stuff (1000+ characters), consider switching to a POST method form instead of GET which puts all the stuff into a long URL.
