Clear form data on redirect

I have a multi page form that uses a header(location... redirect upon completin of first page. If I try to refresh the second page for any reasons, it asks the user if they want to repost form data (from 1st form) which causes validation errors obviously and is confusing. How can I clear this data on the redirect?

I've never done it before, but you can probably use unset(). Just unset() the entire $_POST array variable.

unset($_POST);

That should work.

Not real sure about this, but could you try unsetting each var in the $_POST array maybe?

foreach ($_POST as $var)
	unset($_POST[$var]);

Nope. If I dump the GET/POST in the beginning of the new page, there is nothing there either way.
It seems to work fine with this:
echo "<meta http-equiv=\"refresh\" content=\"0;url=$address\">";
instead of header(Location...
I don't know how browser consistent this is though. The notes in the online manual suggest using both but that did not work no matter which came first which is interesting. Any ideas? I have tried passing all kinds of headers as well (no-cache, etc...)
