variable not getting passed to functions

I installed MySQL PHP and Apache on my computer a few months ago using PHPTriad and every thing was going fine.

When I came to use it today it has decided that it would not pass variables from my pages to my functions on a separate script. But when i upload it onto the internet it all works fine.

It is really annoying have to upload every time i make a change.

Can anyone think of any reason that this has suddenly happened???

Silly question but are apache and the mysql server running?

Yeah both are running and it is accessing the database fine, its only when its passing variables from a html form etc.
