Hello all;
i am having muito mais problemas
[many problems] getting php to run gd functions properly.
In the old days of using WIN NT + IIS with PHP 4.0.3,
I had no problem utilizing gd, as i simply compiled
on the install.
Now, using Win 2000 pro, with IIS 5, and PHP 4.2.3 CGI,
I downloaded a gd library dll, and uncommented
the appropriate line in php.ini.
-- also in same php.ini, i told PHP where it could
find the gd dll file.
and did that help, no, it did not.
I was prompted and advised to upgrade to PHP 4.3.0
which supposedly fixed the problems of needing
to do all the configuring.
I downloaded the windows installer, started it,
and chose
the "Advanced" option, hoping if it would ask me
if i wanted GD installed along with the rest of the build.
Of course, it did not ask me.
Can anyone point me to, or send me a complete,
step-by-step guide to installing and getting this to work
for Windows 2000, IIS 5.0 ?
I don't mind going back to version 4.2.3,
if that is what it will take.
