authentification

does anyone have a good authentificatioon script that uses mysql? i've tried making my one, ive tried downloading them but nothing seems to work. i just need a simple one that allows login, logout and page securing.

Hey there,

One of the best PHP authentication scripts out there is PHP Secure Pages (http://www.phpsecurepages.com/). It used mySQL to store username/password/level and setting the page security is just a couple of lines at the top of the page.

Best of all, you only need to pay if its for commercial use, and even then its just $10 😉.

Let me know if you need a hand installing it.

Great thanks, it wortks fine, but i have one problem, it just works by inserting the users in the config page, but if i try to do it with the mysql it won't work. i did change the $useDatabase to true.
do you have any idea of why this may be? I also installed the sql commands they put. Am using php 4.0 something and PWS.
