displaying text file. driving me nuts!!

Hey Guys,

Im trying to display a text file. It displays it but im trying to put it into table, with line breaks and spaces.

table (width 200 and height 400)

At the moment it shows it exactly how the text file looks.
(with <pre> tags included in the table)

When i take the <pre> tags out, the text fits into the table, but there is no spaces all linebreaks.

This is driving me nuts!!!!!!!!

before you print out the text, try running a nl2br() function on it:

$new_text = nl2br($buffer);

im not sure you mean, as im new to PHP.

Well whatever you are displaying from the array, feed it to nl2br();

It will add HTML-friendly <br>'s to each line break in the chunk.
