PHP.exe Error

does anyone understand this error,

"php.exe has generated errors, and will be closed by windows. You will need to restart the progarm.

An error log is being created."

i'm just logging onto a Oracle database,the login still works but this error always comes up.

I've seen this a lot while working with DCOM, probably COM in general. It works in some PHP version, not in others. When you debug your code, does it crash once your page has finished processing? This is when the PHP.EXE will be unloaded. We debugged it a wee bit and found out that apparently PHP tries to release references to COM objects too many times, hence the crash. If it really is COM related, I found these version to work OK
- PHP 4.0.6
- PHP 4.2.3

After 4.0.6 the bug got in and only got fixed in 4.2.3 and got re-introduced with 4.3.0...
