Anyone ??? If statement...

I have a problem with my script and I need to make an If statement, so the form wont's submit unless the submit button is pressed. My form name is "Contact" and I have a form value of "Fname" for the persons first name. What I want to do is make it so the page can only be submited when there is a value in the field name for "Fname". I'm still really new at this .php stuff, and I would really appreciate anyones help on this..

it is a simple like this:

if ($submit) {
if (!$Fname) {
echo "no value of Fname";
exit();
} else {
//prosess user submit
}
} else {
// your form
}

This needs to be on the page where the form action is occuring.

if ( trim($_POST['Fname']) == "" )
{
  print "Fname is not filled out.";
}
else
{
  print "Success";
}

Thanks for the help guys, but still the page is submitting a blank email to the email address in my script. You can see the script on the other post that I have in the coding section... If you have time to look at it. It seems that when the page is loaded an blank email is automatically sent out...
