[Resolved] cry for help (timestamp conversion)

I need to convert a database that is using mySQL timestamps (e.g. 2002-05-10 10:17:49 ) to PHP friendly unix timestamps .

Just had this sprung on me 20 minutes before a deadline. If someone can post an idiot proof statement to convert the timestamps from field_a and save them in field_b they will be my personal hero of the day!

Not sure about this, but I am going to try:

UPDATE lastvisit SET new_time = UNIX_TIMESTAMP(old_time);
