this is probably a really stupid question but i can't find the answer in the manual or a search of the forums here...
Basically I need to set a cookie to ensure that people can only vote 4 times in 24 hours.
If I originally set the cookie with an expire time of time()+8640 then update it without specifiying an expire parameter then will it retain the original expire time or will it switch to a session cookie as it would if I didn't set an expire parameter in the first place?
If not then is there a way I can access the expire time of an existing cookie?
