I tried to compile php4.3.0 on a linux maschine.
I compiled a lot of time, because I work on a special project.
The problem is, that if i compiled one time, I get for the next ./configure and compile round always the same result like before.
Ok, the install guide say that I should always delete the config.cache. I do that but it didn't works.
My way in the moment is, that I unpack the orginal .tar.gz file and make a new ./configer and make. This is not funny cause it takes time.
Some ideas?
