I've designed a survey that good in that it generated a lot of traffic but bad because it crashed our webhosting provider's server.
What I thougt might be a good workaround is to limit the number of users that can be active in the survey at any given point in time. For example, if I set the limit to ten, then the eleventh person would get a message that says "we're busy, wait a few minutes" rather than being directed to the survey.
Any suggestions as to whether this is a good idea and or how to implement it?
