How to skim traffic from links?

Hi

I am setting up a free for all links page. All the links
will be printed on the page from a database,
however, I do want to skim 25% of the traffic
when a link is clicked on.

Will the code below work?

if you want something like a link that goes to your site instead of the site intended then I have one thing to say: DONT!!! It is sooooooooo anoying when you click to goto a site and it goes somewhere other than where you wanted. No-one would use a links system like that coz it isnt links - its forced advertising and people on the internet don't want anything forced on them.

If you want people to visit your site from your links page then simply place a link to your site after every 10 links or so.

eg:
$linksarray contains all the links

$x = 0;

while ($linksarray[$x]) {
   if ($x%10 == 0)
       echo "<a herf='http://mysite.com'>My Site</a>";

   echo $linksarray[$x];
   $x++;
}
