I want to change something in my MYSQL database at a certain time every week. (exp. Friday at 9:00 PM it changes to the next in a predetermined list)

I use MYSQL version 3.23.41 and I can use temparary tables or whatever I need to get this too work... I also use PHP version 4.2.2 as my coding language if that helps any.

Not sure, but I think that the only way to do this is with a cron job. MySQL site seemed to indicate this.

it is a cron job, a scheduled task the server will do whenever you tell it to, i have one setup on a server that converts .dbf's that are ftp'd into the webserver to mysql tables every fifteen minutes, to do this with a php page, you need to get the lynx browser and use that in your cron job to run the php page in the background, go to yahoo, and search for "run php page with cron" and you will find some nice tut's to help you
