hi,
i'm new here and i have read all other posts and answers here around.
the nearest post that defines my problem is "lordshryku"s post with subject "session won't read"
i had the same problem on my server. (my server is locally used by over 20 office machines) but my codes were running on my own machine perfectly.
i define a session while entering and when i look for it on the later comming pages by (isset) it isnt there.
i use "$_session" to define and "isset " to check.
i am not using session_register on any of my pages.
every page starts with
<? php
session_start();
......
......
?>
it was not working on the server machine win2000 and i installed "mandrake-9.0" on it.
now the session is created and i can work on it but only on the server machine, all other machines on the intranet say that there is no such session even it is created....
i tried changing the "session.cookie_domain" value in php.ini and discovered that when i change it IE5 keeps running but i get the same errors on Netscape and Mozilla.
I can access my page by pc29.xxx.yyy.com from every machine.
i tried almost everything.
any comments please?
