multiple php blocks

Can anybody provide guidance about how to structure the hunks of PHP code that tend to appear at the beginnings of pages? In particular, are there any reasons why it's better (or worse) to have all the code inside a single group of <?php brackets? Does it matter? I sometimes find that multiple hunks can make it easier to organize the code and, certainly, to move hunks between files, but wisdom from other more experienced people would be appreciated.

I suppose you can put the php blocks wherever you want.

For me it's just nice to group all my functions in one central place, regardless of where this central place is. So long as it works.

But then again.. I have a reputation for writing
extremely unreadable code, maybe you should wait for the next reply to your post... 😉
