Image Upload Error

Why are you using the exec() function? This executes an external program

This gives you all the information you need on uploading files.

I am not getting it. How would I enter the path into the column image in the table producer? Can you show me an example?

this may get you in the right direction, this is all you need to get the form element you named the browse button into a folder called path on the server, then insert the name of the pic into the database, you can also put whatever other form elements into the insert statement i just did the pic for simplicity's sake

copy($Picture, "./path/" . $Picture_name);

$name = ($Picture_name);

$query = "insert into table (field) values ('$name');";

Can you explain what each variable means cause this is what I am getting

$Picture_name is the name of the file from the browse field on the form, for example, it you had

<input type="file" name="Picture">

then on php page, $Picture_name would give you whatever.jpg

$name is just getting the name from $Picture_name for reference into the database, i do this cuz with mine i put the logged persons username in front of the name so i can easily search for them later when i want to display them

so i have
$logged equal to their username, the i have

$name = $logged . "_" . $Picture_name;

i just didn't do that for you since you didn't say anything about that and thought that would confuse you more

try using the full path to the folder, if you are on linux it could be something like

var/www/html/Specialty/WineImages

or

usr/local/apache/htdocs/Specialty/WineImages
