How to prevent the refresh button of resending a post

I got a from.php that on submit send to receive.php and receive.php is the current page. When i send to receive.ph everything is alright but when I refresh it resend all information and double my bd that giving me trouble. Is there a way to prevent it???

You could always have receive.php forward the person to another page right away!

Are you calling the receive.php from your <form> action statement? If so, you can check the status of your submit button. Use if (isset (submit_button_name)) or if (!isset ....

All objects on your from form will pass to the receive form including the submit button.

Basically you check for the status of the from.php submit button in receive.php. If it's set, you do your thing and then set a second variable. Include checking for that second variable to bypass any code that 'repeats' as you don't want.

I did found a way and it was frame so like that if you push the refresh it's the frame that refresh and not the page in the frame
