how to make encrypt

hello im quite newbie about this thing.. i want to encrypt the password and other fields i have on my database.. but i dont know how to encrypt.

sample i have password field and salary and i want both of this to be encrypted.

and how can i decrypt it from the database..

sample i type in test from the form and i have to save it on the database encrypted whats the script should i use and how can i decrypt it from getting in from database

should encrypt it for you. The DB should auto decrypt it when the user enters their password. Or atleast mine does.

Set your password field in you DB to type PASSWORD

I am new at this too, but a friend taught me this, and it works so far.
