Adding new users

I am working with the Complete User Auth System php scirpt,
When I click on register and put in all the information it never adds it to my data base, And when I click login it just goes to a blank screen and does not tell me if Iam logged in or if Iam not registered.

can someone help

I also think it maybe the table in my database is not set up correct. Sorry Iam new to PHP just learning, But Iam using MySql as a database.

Well for a start the sql which creates the table doesn't work and I don't think it was created with register_globals off. I would pretty much steer clear of it. It seems pretty outdated too, the last update was Aug 31 2000.

ok I was able to run the Script. But when I go to the login.php page I get

Notice: Undefined variable: login in d:\inetpub\wwwroot\login.php on line 13

Notice: Undefined variable: login in d:\inetpub\wwwroot\login.php on line 15

I get this message at the top of the screen

I think my problem is I am using IIS4.0 I going to set it up on an apache.

Ok I got the problem with the login fixed but and time I try to click on enter it get this message
Looks like the admin of this site either didn't run the SQL (database) script, or deleted all of the users. That's no good.
Even though I ran the Script.

Ok I got this script to work http://www.reimanndesign.com/simpl

but any time I enter an ID it takes me to this page
login.php?login=error
And when I look at the logins table all the logins or incorrect and no IP was displayed even though the user id and password were correct.

Hey...Did you ever get Simpl running on IIS? Just curious. I just don't have any way to test it. I'm not a huge fan of IIS, and don't want to take the time to setup a box just for that.

Anyway, if any one needs help with Simpl, let me know. I wrote it, and can help you out.

Please don't bug me with email like "I'm new to PHP and MySQL, I don't know if they work on my server. Can you help me setup PHP and MySQL?" 🙂
