I am trying to pass a variable between two scripts, but I have this warning

hehe... it's bitchin because you don't have a include where it is supposed to be. Also you might wanna learn how to just simply do it by www.mysite.com/student_section.php?variable=value

Start there and then learn to use Sessions. Then you will have it made once you learned sessions.
