I think I am just really brain dead this weekend but I could really use some help to point me in the right direction. I am working on a project for a committee that will allow users to search for a specific church based on 7 different criteria.
My problem is, I'm not exactly sure how to narrow down the list based on the information given.
For instance, the user can search based on location, they could pick NW, SW, NE, and/or NW. In addition, they could also search by number of people, 100-300, 300-500, and/or 500+.
All my tables are separate, ie: one table for location, one table for attendance, and one table for each church with properties of locationid, attendanceid.
How do I perform searches when there is more than 1 option selected for each category (location, attendance), and then narrow the choices based on all the options?
I hope I am making this clear, maybe I should eat lunch, that might help. 🙂
