I was hoping someone could recommend a good PHP book because I want to add fantasy sports games to my website similar to ESPN, Yahoo and others. If anyone knows some books or tutorials that would help me in that fashion, I would greatly appreciate it.

Sams PHP and Mysql is good i have heard. But dont take anyones word for it.
Id suggest going to a book store or computer store and read some books for php. Just so you get an idea on what they are going on about, and if its right for you.
