If I use a cookie with a experation let say 5 mins if the user stay active for ten mins will the cookie expire while the is still active or if the user dose nothing the experation then begin to countas inactive and will expire in five mins

It sounds like a cookie disappears after the expiration date has been met, no mater if the current session is active.
