Hi there! Well, I'm starting to build a web portal and so far the things I need on it are described down here:
A Forum
A guestbook
A poll system
A news update system (in the index, posting news to the users)
User control
Interactive Story system
Other stuff
Well the two last are marked because PHP Nuke provides me everthing but them. The Interactive story system I found one (Story line 1.18) which is great and gives me everthing I need. Other stuff are things I'm creating.
Well the dilema here is that the things I create doesn't give me too much problem when interacting to Nuke, since I'm building it. My problem is to make the Storyline and the Nuke systems to "comunicate" since each one has it own user management and session validation, it could lead the user to login twice.
Well, I just need some tips on this, I'm trying to avoid to look into those thousands of line codes of each system. Does anyone has a better idea? A better content management?
